I KNOWWWWW you can't tell by looking but do any of you all know of any physical traits that might give clues to the sex of a juvinile aged bosc

Unless they start wearing blonde wigs and makeup it is hard to tell 100% by a head shot. Depending upon how you hold the camera angled it may give the appearence of a larger animal or head and neck size then it actually has. Best if you go about guessing the sex by the area that shows what sex it is.

Being it looks very young it is not going to be easy with a picture. Best bet is to know what a male and female look like and take it from there. Look at the proportions within the head and body. But also look for any hemipenal bulges and for anything to evert while defecating.

I do not have exact measurements as I no longer have any basc monitors. But the males head is wide at the base between the eyes its neck is much thicker.
Overall appearence is like most other monitors the males look totally different compared to the female in body size and proportions.
This may not work everytime so it is best to check the part that matters most. Which would be the actual sexual organs. Look for bulges at the base of the tail for a male they will be easily seen and will run length wise down the tail. The females will either have no bulge or just a small bump.
If it everts look for a short smooth tube(female) or a long thick tube with a funny looking end(male).
