Need help finding some good stackables

mitchbuff Nov 11, 2007 02:43 AM

I am interested in buying some "rack" style stackable cages for my collection (colubrids mostly) and am trying to decide what size and brand would be best for me to get. I'm not capable of even putting a nail through a board, so building them myself is out of the question. I want some with light fixtures already built into them as well. I was gonna get some vision cages, but I heard a lot of people on the web complaining about them, so now I'm not sure. Any help or advice would be most appreciated.

Hey,
I just got this cage from Reptile Basics. It comes with heat, and they are stackable. I had a opening drilled into this one for a basking light. But I know that the small cage they have has a light in it already.I am planning on getting some for my kings one at a time.

Check out Showcase Cages. They are stackable and have features for heat and lighting geared toward your specific needs.

Just an example of how you can stack them.

Here is their website.

Check out www.herpcages.com

These are great colubrid cages, very light-weight, stack with room for heat tape or heat pad underneath. Need to add your own lights though. The 3ft x 1ft x 1ft is a great size.

Or www.precisioncaging.com - These come with light fixtures but no room for heat tape between stacked cages. I use spacers like felt pads.

Also, search for Dragons-for-You. They make nice colubrid cages as well that do not cost an arm and a leg.
