Those are some splendid splendida you have there Joe.
I'm feeling the urge to get into another species coming on. LOL!
Problem is, I'll have to buy another rack, 'cause everythings full. Don't you hate it when that happens.

I'm pricing those things now.... I'm leaning towards a couple CB-70's from Vision.

I'm currently using Animal Plastics and Boaphile racks.
They both work well. My AP hatchling rack has a gap on the
top shelf that was big enough for two of my '07 Eastern Kings to get out. Boaphile's craftmanship is far better, but they do cost more, and good luck getting a responce from them once your order is in. AP racks come without the tubs, Boaphiles come with tubs. Now I know to keep only larger species on the top rack of my AP rack. Oh well. Rainer has posted a link to a few other companys. It's definitely worth the time to do a little shopping around. Overall I love the plastic racks though. They are well worth the money.

You might want to look at reptilebasics racks, I've just got a few and like them a lot.
Best,

thanks for that. I am definitely researching my options and I don't exactly have $1600 cash laying around LOL but I have to do something. One thing I do have is time this winter so I might have to construct something myself.

Joe,
Also take a look at Repti-Racks racks, too.
I don't have a rack from them, but I do have 4 PVC cages, and I love 'em.
You WILL hear back from them (Steve) throughout the process, which is nice.
I think he'll be at the show here in Austin coming up, too, so you could pick everything up there if you order soon...

I think that dude is in San Antonio. I talked to him at the show last weekend. I'll check into it further.

No- he lives in Watauga, TX- not sure where that is, and he wasn't at the show last weekend...
He will be at the Austin show next month, though.

Joe-I've had experience with several of these rack systems, including PM Herps, Animal Plastics, Reptile Basics and others. After using the VISION racks I doubt I'll ever buy any other kind. Not only are they easier to assemble (by far!), but they are perfectly ventilated, extremely easy to move around (or even disassemble if you have to move them to a new facility), and look great. Best of all, they are the least expensive units out there! Finally, you'll find they have awesome customer support.
That being said, for hatchling colubrids Reptile Basics makes a line of hatchling racks that is second to none. I plan to get several more.

The Avalanche has already started-it is too late for the pebbles to vote....
just do NOT plan on keeping anything in the vision racks that need any kind of humidity. They are the by far the most dry cage option I have ever used. I get away with some colubrids in them, but my ball pythons shed horribly, I have to mist them like crazy. These racks basically have a screen top with all the holes in the plastic. They are designed well as long as this isn't a problem for your animals.
