What comes out of the combo??
I think you'd end up with pastels, super pastels, and mojaves. I'm not sure on the percentages though. I think it would be 50% super pastels, 25% pastels, and 25% mojaves. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
What about now?
You will get....
Pastel Mojave
Super Pastel Mojave
Mojave
Super pastel
Pastel
-----
1.0 Pastel BP (George)
0.1 Spider BP
0.2 (1 Huge) normals(Beladona,Mystery!)
0.0.1 Gray Banded king
0.0.1 Red phase Eastern Hoggie
1.0 Cat(Higgens)
2.0 Dogs (Boomer,Andrew{Andy})
1.1 Iggys (Bart, Lisa)
1.1 Beardies
0.0.1 Anery Red tail Boa
0.0.1 Savannah Monintor
.
Shouldn't be able to get any plain mojave.
Looking at the pastel side it's super pastel (homozygous) X pastel (heterozygous). So like any homozygous X heterozygous breeding it's 50% het and 50% homozygous. So 50% pastel and 50% super pastel.
Again, the independent mojave side is het X normal so 50% mojave and 50% normal for mojave.
Overlaying the two you get:
25% pastel
25% pastave
25% super pastel
25% super pastel mojave
n/p
Just looking at the pastel part you are breeding pastel X pastel (assuming a pastave is a pastel mojave so since mojave is apparently unrelated to pastel we can exclude that part for now). Like any het X het breeding pastel X pastel gives you eggs with 25% chance normal, 50% chance het, and 25% homozygous odds. So applying pastel phenotype terms that's 25% normal for pastel, 50% pastel, and 25% super pastel.
Looking at the mojave side like any het X normal breeding it gives you 50% chance normal and 50% het for the gene. So mojave X normal gives you in mojave phenotype terms 50% normal for mojave and 50% mojave.
So far the assumption is that they are independent genes so you just overlay the results. Like split all the pastel results between normal for mojave and mojave. That gives you:
12.5% chance normal for both pastel and mojave
12.5% chance mojave
25% chance pastel
25% chance pastave
12.5% chance super pastel
12.5% chance mojave super pastel
i think you could also get the superpastel mojo like when you breed pewter to pastel you could possibly get the sterling very low chances though. correct me if i'm wrong though
