Still concerned about feeding gravid

Odin22 Nov 11, 2007 04:11 PM

Hi

We fed both pregnant females a large rat last month (ie almost one month ago from today). They're usual meal was a xxxlg guinea pig from RodentPro, every two weeks. So far we're following the "smaller food, twice the time" formula. They have both passed urates at least once since their last feeding and twice since September, but no feces at all since we moved them from the closet into individual tanks two months ago.

Is it too soon to feed them another rat each?

go ahead with another small prey item if they accept it. A well hydrated boa will defecate when its ready. How are you doing with the humidity in the cage?
