Eating habbits

bigguykev36 Aug 23, 2003 10:35 PM

My female eats and poops about twice as much as my male (who is just a little older than her... why? is there something wrong with my male? he spends ALL his time in his humid hide, and barely any time in his hide on the cool side of the tank. So does my female. But she's not in the hide that often, she often just lays out on the tile and sleeps in the light. any suggestions for changes?

As long as they are eating, pooping, and getting along, I wouldn't change a thing. One thing though, does the female go in the humid hide at all? I've noticed with my gex that if one of my males is bullying his girl, he'll hog one of the hides and the girl will sleep right outside or on top.

they're in seperate tanks right now, so they all got their own stuff... and yeah, she goes in the humid hide on occasion. I'm sure they're fine and there's nothing to worry about.. it's just that she's SUCH a little piggy and he barely eats... well he does eat... so I guess I have nothing to worry about, just doesn't like to eat a ton. I'll stop babbling now...
