I have a cali king that is about 2 years old - just over three feet or so -- she ate on wednesday as usual and then tonight - sunday -- she defacated normally.. but a few hours later I saw her start contracting her muscles in a really strange way as if pushing something up to regurgatate --- when she did this some mucus-spit type stuff came up but nothing else. I dont know if this is signifying that something is wrong with her or not -- she looked very uncomfortable for a few minutes and kept opening her mouth but then it just stopped.. and she seemed back to normal except she keeps pushing her head against things almost like she would do if she were starting to shed (wich she's not - she just shed within the last month)
in her tank she has cage carpet - no loose substrate that could have gotten swallowed with her last meal...
any suggestions as to why she was doing this?
I'm going to be keeping a close eye on her through the night to see if she does anything else out of the ordinary
