Ok I purchased to adult proven female corn snakes saturday. From a very well know local breeder and pet shop owner. I put them in with some other females that I have for the time being. Well after just a few mins. I noticed one of the new snakes doing the jerking move. Which really confussed me because I thought only males done this. So I got my probes out and sexed both of them. Both snakes are 4 to 5 foot long, and around 5 to 6 years old. Well they both probbed out at 12 plus scales deep. My question is, with them both being bred several times and full grown is it possible for them to probe that deep. Or did I get the short end of the stick and get two males. The owner swears there from his private breeding stock and has never lied to me before. Whats my chances here..
