If you put a 2" crestie in with a 3 1/2"-4" crestie? If they are still young should they do just fine together? Should I just watch closely and see what they do?

That's a pretty big size difference. I'd wait until they're considerably older, preferably both adults or very close to it. If you put them together now, I wouldn't be at all surprised if some bullying occurred.
