What is this? I think it's either a leopard or pickerel frog.Also,would it be toxic to use for scenting pinkies? Thanks!, Jeff

that looks like a pickerel to me. Look where the rear legs meet the body. If there is a yellow/orange color than it is definitely a pickerel. And yes they are toxic to other frogs and fish so I would not use them for scenting.

It's a Pickeral Frog. Very toxic! Although I doubt a snake would eat anything scented with it. Here's one I found in Kentucky this past spring.
