Some males are more aggressive than others. It depends on their personality and how the female reacts to his "techniques"

Nips are generally the rule, not the exception. I reallt only get concerned if I see real bites, blood, etc. Most of the time they just nip, taking off a layer of skin or two, leaves white marks, not pink or red.

yea she has a cut on her tail back and neck not to bad looks like jsut a scrap is that a sign that they mated and how do i know if she is going to lay eggs or not and if she is to young will she lay eggs? and will it be a problem and if she is to young is there anything i can do to stop her from having/laying the eggs?

You absolutely should have made sure she was old and big enough to breed before attempting. If she is too young, yes that's a problem, and she may suffer greatly.

What are the size & weight of the female in question? Is she about the same size as the male, significantly smaller, or significantly larger? If the cuts look in any way serious, you should probably separate them at least until she heals.

they are both the same size but i have seperated them, the cuts arent that serious and she is about 7-8 inches long. what type of food can i give her to fatten her up just incase they did mate

In all respect, if you suspected your female was too small or too young, you should not have let them even be housed together. That being said, you should assume that they bred and keep your female well fed and taken care of and be ready for eggs and babies.
