young retic ill, need help

beowulf Nov 14, 2007 10:16 AM

Last night my 6 month old retic was laying with her head face down, I thought it was dead but she wasn't. I picked her up and her head kept falling to her side. When I put her back in she twisted up and again her head was upside down. Nothing in her cage could have injured her, there's no skin broken or strange lumps. Has anyone seen this before?
I added an extra heat source and she seemed to be a little better this morning, but I still think she won't live. Thanks for any help!

How is your tic getting along? Just one thought, if you are sure there has been no physical injury, has your snake been exposed to other snakes? In particular boa`s? How long have you had your snake?

Trish.
