Pewter x Pewter = ?

Marcial Nov 14, 2007 11:53 AM

What are the possible outcomes from this pairing?

I come up with:

Normals (not sure on this one)
Pastels
Super Pastels
Cinnys
Super Cinnys
Silver Bullet (Super Cinny x Pastel)
Silver _______ (Super Cinny x Super Pastel) - anyone know what ths morph is called?

Anything else?

Don't forget Pewters and Sterlings (Super Pastel Cinny). Other than that you got it right.I don't think anyone has produced a Super Cinny Super Pastel yet, so maybe it isn't named.

I odn't think you would produce normals

Yes you could. Pewters are Pastel Cinnies...no super anything. Here's the breakdown:

6.25% Super Pastel Super Cinnies
6.25% Normals
12.5% Pastels
12.5% Cinnies
25% Pewters
6.25% Super Pastels
6.25% Super Cinnies
12.5% Sterlings
12.5% Super Cinny Pastels

I just looked the names up in NERD's book...it looks like they labeled the Silver Bullet as the Super Pastel Super Cinny and the Silver Streak as the Super Cinny Pastel. Greg Graziani's list has the Silver Streak as a Super Pastel Black Pastel and the Silver Bullet as the Super Cinny Pastel, though, which is how I thought it was. I always mixed up the names before, and now I'm really confused. Hopefully someone will clarify.

Hope this helps,
Shelly

Someone posted recently that there were errors in Nerd's book regarding these morphs. They are very confusing.

I always thought that...

Pastel Cinnamon/Black where called Pewters.

The Super Pastel Cinnamon/Black where called Silver Streaks.

The Pastel Super Cinnimon/Black was called a Silver Bullet.

I havn't seen a Super Pastel Super Cinnamon/Black...not sure what its called...I think whats the most confusing, that
the different versions of Cinnamon and Blacks morphs where called something different.

I can't wait to produce a Pewter and a Silver Bullet...those two have to be two of my favorites...

LOL...wasn't there a "Sterling" or something in there too...Is that from the Black Pastel side or the Cinnamon Side? Wow..your right...it can be confusing...lol, I guess it all depends on which your working with right? Black Pastels or Cinnamons...as to what each morph of those is called...

I think if it's a Super Pastel x Cinny it's a Sterling and if it's a Super Pastel x Black Pastel it's a Silver Streak. That makes it confusing though, since Pewters are Pewters regardless of how they're produced. IMO it would make more sense to use the same names for Cinny combos and Black Pastel combos, especially for the Silver Bullet and the Super Pastel Super Cinny since those could be Cinny/Black Pastel crosses. I'm sure some people will disagree with me though.

DavidKendrick Nov 14, 2007 02:25 PM

It would help to label them the same thing, I can see that they are two distinct lines of morphs, but produce simular things, and I can see how the original producers wanted to give thier own spin on what they had created...but I agree..it would be WAY easier to label them the same...maybe ad the line to it somehow...like they do with Ghosts...Butterscotch, Orange..ect..ect..They are all ghosts..right?..lol

Great Discussion...I really like all the morphs that can be produced with the Cinnamons and Blacks..
