Bumble Bee tipping head and body over

wreckless Nov 14, 2007 05:22 PM

I have a Male bumble bee, he eats well every 5-7 days with no problems. However when I take him out, he tips his head over and lays the back of his head on my hand. Is this common or something I need to be concerned with, other than this he is perfect in every way. I heard it comes from the spider genetics. I just need to know if I need to be concerned with it and passing it on to the babies.

Probally nothing to worry about. All my spiders do this and it is probally passed on the the bees through genetics. Someone with a bee would probally better answer than me though. I have held other spiders that don't tilt their head.
