I have no friend that are into snakes like I am. Are there any NYC area herpers on here. When I go out, I begin talking about hets and stuff and my friends have no idea what I am talking about.

Im in westchester. Not sure how are that is for you tho, but I know what your talking about.

On Monday I am picking up 1.1 100% het gentic stripes, a male pin, a male spider, and a female high contrast albino. So for the show all I will prob pick up is a normal female if the breeder that is selling me this wont throw one in. I also have to stock up on some frozen rodents. What are u buying?

I know how you feel! My friends think I am nuts! I'm just learning about genetics, and when I talk about it like a little kid at christmas, they look at me like I've lost my mind!

(BTW, I'm in winnipeg, canada....I'm soooo lonely! lol)

Jersey Shore here but I frequent NYC and Long Island regularly. I also make it to almost every White Plains show. I will probably even make it next weekend even though I am flying back in from Thanks Giving in Texas Late Sat. Night..... I love going to the shows even if I know I am not going to buy anything!

There are a couple of building maitanance guys at the office who are just getting into them...so I get a little fix at lunch. but they are not yet into breeding or genetics yet.
I have a lot of breeder friends in the area, but with crazy work schedules, families etc... We mostly get our snake fixes via email and phone. (Or text messaging.)
I had to go down to Daytona to meet my Blood Python buddy... and he lives a block away from me. LOL
A sign of the times.
Not sure if I can make it to WP..
It'd be fun to do a tri-state area snake coctail hour or coffee hour some time.
