since i am a snake person i am new to crested because my wife wanted one so we got one. i ordered a 12x12x16 herp cages from BARRS for her new baby gecko. so now we are getting 2 more baby crested and they are all same sizes and was just wondering if all three of them can be housed together for awhile? if not i'll keep them in a kritter keeper cages. the two we are geeting is $30 for both and we could not pass! thanks for any of your suggestions.

since that cage is about 10 gallons, i don't see why you couldn't put all three together until they are about 12g or so. however, with all new animals, it is best to quarantine individually to keep an eye on feeding/pooping, weight loss, disease and general health. i would put them in individual kritter keepers kept apart, in separate rooms if possible, for 30-90 days, depending on the source of the gecko. then if deemed healthy and still the same approximate size, you can put them in that cage and keep an eye out for fighting/bullying. separate again if needed and if/when any are determined to be male.

thanks, they are all siblings by the way and bought from a same person. but i see your point into keeping them alone for now and i better do so since i am fussy with making sure that they all get the food for them self.

yeah in that case, you don't have to worry about the distance between the kritter keepers.
