dented eggs.please help

my leo had eggs last saturday and I put them in vermiculite and keep them at 85 degress. I checked on them this morning and they have dents are they no good. Please help. thanks Matt

They could still be good,so don't throw them away yet. Is your container have holes in for air! They may just need a little bit of water, check your vermiculite to see if the consistancy is the same or has gotten a bit dry. If it's changed add little water to the edge of the container, NOT on the eggs themselves. If this is the cause it will take a couple of days for the egg to pop out, took my egg 3 days, and it hatched when it was time. I used a needle less syringe to add the water, or you can use a mister. Just put the mister on a fine spray, not too much.My one egg did this twice till it hatched.Good Luck and keep us informed.

No! You have to open the lid and let air in bout once a week and check the vermiculite to make sure it's not drying out.I opened my containers for about a minute once a week for air and the checking of wetness.
