im thinking of getting one and I have a few questions.

1. How big does an average male get, how big does a female get. How fast do they grow?
2. What size enclosure?
3. Will it need rabits as an adult for males or females
4. Shoveling SH!T, do they make muchu grande turds?
5.Can someone show me a pic of and adult hypo, albino and normal and anery?
6. Are hypos all that different
7. What are some not to expensive morphs(ill spend upto 4-500 dollar, price isnt the issue its my dad saying no snake is worth more than 400 dollars unless its a chondro(his Fave) or a pied ball python(Santa Might like me)
8.Difficulty of care compared to green tree python or rainbow bow?
9. Bite hurt?
10.I dont get this. Whats the diff between red tail, BCI and boa constrictor?

males can be kept smaller than females, all can be around 6 10 feet, similar to BRB;s but maybe another year to full size
2. What size enclosure?
4' x 2' considered adequate and minimum
3. Will it need rabits as an adult for males or females
if allowed to get that large Yeah, but, none of mine are that large yet
4. Shoveling SH!T, do they make muchu grande turds?
DUH, what goes in one end comes out the other mucho grande rats = .....
5.Can someone show me a pic of and adult hypo, albino and normal and anery?

all are in these pics, the white cages are 4' x 32", the black ones are 4' x 2'

6. Are hypos all that different

DUH, more, I'd try to aviod an adult bite if at all possible, ain't been there, plan on not doing that!!

red tail is generic for boa constrictors, some say is more proper for BCC. BCI is short for the full name Boa Constrictor Imperator, Boa constrictor, again generic for boas but used more for BCI

Hypos can be VERY different, ive seen some drop dead gorgeous hypo's that have orange/pink/reds like crazy, ive also seen hypos that look just kinda like light color normals, but as hypos tend to change color as they age its hard to tell what one is going to look like.

i also wanted to mention that Albinos are comming into that $400-$500 range. which is cool. Also you can get Pastels and anerys for under $500 too

Can you please post pics of adult albinos/ anerys and pastels? I can get albinos for 500 dollars, but most of the adults iv been look like fat chickens

I know Limey, he was sharing a table with the guy who sold me my rainbow boa! He wasnt very well informed, he told me to feed it baby toads (not tadpoles, baby toads)

thats cool, i had a lot of hilarious conversations from people trying to pretend to know more then they do.

I was told that if you bred a Sharp Albino X Kahl Albino you would get albinos, because they are compatible. .. .

which is NOT true

that was his response when i asked if the boas he was selling were sharp or kahl

Odd conversations i had at NARBC. A lady was selling quarter sized baby turtle.(isnt that illegal) and told me its healthier with only eating procceses pellets. Load of crap. Then this lady said carpet pythons are easier than leopard geckos(some truth to that) then brian sharp tried to sell my a high red hypo BCI (i asked for a rainbow boa- high red) Then some guy gave a jumping spieder to a little girl, it tried to crawl up her neck, she freked,, ran and jumped on some girls breast. Good thing she liked trantualas

Okay Fine, Brian Sharp isnt that stupid, I was talking about normal boas just to learn, then i suddenly asked about a rainbow boa and i thought he misheard me because he said something like "high reds not a morph"

Your dad is right. and.....Surinam Redtails are far and away the best Boa Constrictors and they do get BIG. Bci morphs are not rare and they are not as pretty as Bcc so they should not be priced so high. Some Bci morphs are down right ugly as adults.
