Can I keep my juvenile snake in this as its first home? He will be very young when i obtain him in the near future. I have read that if I provide enough hides then then she will be fine in such a huge enclosure?
Thanks for the help guys

Yes and no...... If you provide a HUGE number of hides, then it will probably be fine. I would also recomend that you provide a water bowl on both end so he will not have to travel so far for water.

"Have you ever tried simply turning off the T.V., sitting down with your kids... and hitting them?"
If you make the cage as natural as possible she/he should be fine. That is if it stays in it. When I got my 40 gal critter cage there was a gap big enough for a hatchling to fit through. I covered both corners with velcro, plus it keeps the screen down. If you just put heavy duty velcro over the corner in the pic below, it's safe and has worked for me for 2 years!
