A little Texas Indigo

jpenney Nov 16, 2007 08:10 PM

I was out working two days ago and found this little guy laying in the road. He didn't even move when I went out to urge him off the road. He just turned around and looked at me. So I picked him up, had my partner shoot this photo and took him into the brush off the roadway. Cool snakes; never even acted mad

Finally, a photo of the mystery photographer! Always wanted to meet you in the field someday, good to know who I am looking for! Tell your partner he is a great photographer as well, LOL, with your camera! Great snake!

My wife saw this picture and said, "You look like that dipshizle (other word) on Home Improvement that never quite shows his face" I told her maybe we don't want to scare the children Anyway, anytime you feel like hittin a ranch or two down here in S. TX and I have off, feel free....I'll tell my partner you admire his photographic abilities.

Dear Jason, I really enjoyed your "tour" of W. Texas via the Hudspeth County link. The indigo up in the tree is stunning, it looks Silver. Thanks for posting, we never tire of seeing Drymarchon in the wild. Your site was a mini-vacation for me.
