question on price...

gettoswordtail Nov 16, 2007 09:20 PM

hi all i was beginning to contemplate getting a young (hopefully 07 hatchling)ball python and i was wondering what a "normal" coloured/gened individual would go for? i'm in canada if that means anything. i used to breed corns and kings on a small scale but got out of it after i no longer had sufficient time. i always liked ball pythons and my interest recently re-surfaced after a visit to the local herp store lol. anyhow now i'm rambling but any info you could give me is great. thanks.

derek.

normally normals go for about 20-30 bucks plus shipping if u order on here. my suggestion is find a local breeder and cut out the shipping gl

make sure you look at every option because you might get all exited and buy the first snake you like. then the next day or so find better quality animal for half the price........im a dork haha that what i did.......just make sure you dont do the same.

If you just want one baby normal as a pet, I would suggest finding out if there are any local shows in your area (or a breeder in your area) so that you can better hand-pick the one you like based on personality or whatever else your looking for in it. Normals at shows run from $20-$45, and that way you get to look around a bit to compare what you really want.
