I'll start out with some of my Virginia Beach Eastern Kings.

This first one is an '07 with a little bit of attitude. LOL!!!

The second is an '06 aberrant male from a WC gravid female.
Her clutch from this season, with a different sire of course, had a few aberrants in it as well. I wondering if it might be genetic?
Enjoy!

Nice little easterns. One thing about abberents I've noticed. You don't see near as many in the wild as you do in cb clutches. When I was breeding Virginia easterns I almost came to expect abberentcies. At the time I thought that perhas it was an incubation thing but it may be genetic given you're dealing with the same realtive population. Still one would think you'd see more of it in the wild. Out of maybe a couple hundered easterns I found around here since 1987 (before all the developement they were common as all get out) I saw one maybe two animals with significant abberencies. Of course animals with perfect patterns were just as rare.

Yeah. In my short time in Va. Bch., 2 yrs., I haven't seen any aberrrants in the field either. Ineresting, as Niel Young would say. LOL!

Here is a male from your 07 clutch that I got from you showing the abherent pattern. It also has a white belly.
