T positive argentine question

NUCCIZ_BOAS Nov 17, 2007 12:12 AM

For anybody who is working with these..... Everybody says not to breed kahl albino x kahl albino because albino is such a weak gene that it causes problems with the offspring. Does the same hold true with the T positive albino gene????? Also, anybody have a good reference as to who is producing them?

I haven't heard of any deformitites with the Argentine T positives. I'd still try to outcross as much as possible, which I'm sure you know all the reasons for that. As far as people breeding them, it seems pretty low. Bill Gaines had a couple litters this season, and he has some young adult 100% hets available. Of course, John Mack should have some as well. A couple T positives and maybe one or two of the Argentine motleys, and you'd have one heck of a project! Good luck
