Most defiantly I think that a hognose would be an exhalent pet. They aren’t difficult to care for they don’t need any special lighting. In nature they are primarily toad eaters but most captive breed hogs eat unscented mice some captive breed hogs will retain there natural instinct to eat toads or frogs and those will usually take scented and there are several other tricks to get them to eat, I think the most defining attribute is they have loads of personality I would defiantly recamend getting one.
