I'm scratching my head here...

pspguy Aug 24, 2003 09:20 AM

I have never had a problem keeping the cool end substrate temp down before now. It's at 84 degrees this morning, with the warm side at 88. Before it was easily kept at 74 or 75 degrees... how can I cool it down?

I'm using UTH, but that is the temp at the opposite end of the tank. I know this room is hot, but I dont think its that hot in here.... the temp is reading in here at like 75....

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Put a rock or hide on the cool side that your leos can climb on top of, that will provide an additional heat gradient, being further from the substrate.

Also make sure you are using a thermostat
