How to clean a glass tank?

I have a glass 10 gal that i used to keep a RES in...It has some white water stain i guess on alot of it... How can I clean this up for my new corn snake?

In the past I've filled it with water and then just scrape with a razor blade.

The white stuff is probably hard water deposits. You can get a calcium, lime, and rust remover in a spray bottle at Wal-Mart or the home improvement store that will dissolve this; you may still need to use the razor blade for the worst of it. Once you've cleaned off the deposits, rinse the tank VERY thoroughly, as the CLR stuff is pretty nasty.
