Repti-Racks Opinions

Rob_G Nov 17, 2007 05:07 PM

Anyone have any experience with Repti-Racks cages? I'm looking at their 48x24x15. It's for a Hog Island Boa. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The make great cages. Functional with no problems.

I believe they have a new model coming out that is an aluminum-frame setup which ships broken down.

All of the Repti-Racks products are top notch. [both caging and racks] You will be hard pressed to find better quality.

Thanks. I called them and ordered the 48x24x15 with heat panel, thermostat, lighting and lock. It should be here in about 6 weeks.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did all that cost? I have been thinking of buying the smae cage. Thanks

I have a few of there racks. I have two 28qt 4 tub and 3 of the hatchling racks. Of the other brands I have, I like these the best. Kinda heavy, and when it says to not over tighten the screws, don't. Other then that I love em. They did take a little longer then they said they would, but I made a huge order. One things that still stands out in my mind is when I got my racks, one of the hatchling racks was missing a piece of backing. When I called them they said they would send it out right away. I got it three days later with a whole extra set of tubs. I called again and they said to keep em for my troubles. I will be ordering cages soon from them. I highly recommend.

One thing, be careful what you dust the shelves with. Windex left a weird white residue that I still can't get off. NIX spray didn't.
