breeding

kurma Aug 24, 2003 10:41 AM

Yesterday I found a nice place seelinh what seemed the perfect containers for breeder boxes. So I got one to try t out its maybe 5''H and I filled it half with moist spagnum and meat moss. The femael didn't use it last night so i stuck her in this morning she came right out. Anyways is it better for me to put the male in the females cage or the other way around?

usually you would put the female in with the male. i leave them in for a couple days unless you see them breed and the males harrasing her. My males acting a little funny cause he used to be kept with all the females and doesnt like having his own home now.

i think it is best to give the female to the male since the male will then be able to focus more on breeding than exploring new surroundings. don't worry, she'll use the hide when she needs to lay or shed.
