Best natural setup you've seen

Seanu13 Nov 19, 2007 01:29 PM

Anyone have pics of the best looking naturalistic looking leo enclosure you've seen? I have a friend who owns a stone yars (lots of neat goodies) and said he'd just give me whatever I wanted so I was looking for a setup to model after.

its always nice having connections...

Thanks =)

personally I'm partial to my own. Just finished setting up my 55 gal tank for a 1.3 group. I'm a big fan of rainbow rock. Slate is also a big hit, but u need to be careful it doesnt get too hot if youre using lights.

I'm only using a UTH. She seems to do pretty well with that and the temp stays about right with like... 5 paper towels on top (I used paper towels as my substrate).

PS: this would most likely be a 20 gallon tank and one or two leos. Right now I just have the one but she's doing so well that when the expo comes to New Orleans (I live in LA) I may get another. =)

So yeah, Rainbow eh? I'll be sure to ask. I just dont know how I want to arrange it in the tank yet.

slate is good choice too if your using a uth. Just make sure you quarantine any new acquisition before putting them together. And if you are going to place rock off the ground, make sure you cement it with silicone. Leos do dig sometimes, and you dont want any falling rocks.
