breeding question?

fatscales Nov 19, 2007 07:52 PM

Hey everyone I have a basic question maybe its been asked before. Just so you know this, ive never bred any kind of snake in my life ive kept a lot of bull and gopher snakes(reptiles in gen) when I was younger and just got back into the hobby and wow its bigger, my love for pits never left. All other snakes are intresting to me yet dull to me at the same time so I plan to start breeding within the next two years. I know its a sin to cross breed bullxpine and so forth. My question that I have is breeding a bullsnake form Texas to a bullsnake say from Oklahoma shunned upon by breeders intrested in pits? Or is it ok and accepted?

thanks sorry for the long post.

I don't think its a big deal as long as you don't sell it as a specific locality snake like a stillwater hypo or colorado bull. Then again I imagine some others on here will disagree.
