Incubation medium?

Kingofspades Nov 21, 2007 04:13 AM

Noob to breeding. First season. Incubator is built, snakes are locked up as I type this. My question: best medium?

Has anyone used Hatchrite?

Also, should I put any holes in the egg box?

Thanks,
KOS

I use Vermiculite, no holes in egg box but open everyday or two just to let in fresh air in.

Good luck.

HatchRite is great, I used it last year and everything went perfectly. No holes in the box, I just opened them once per week for air exchange and to see how the eggs were doing.

Medium? We use water with plastic grate.

Hatchrite? We've never tried it.

Holes? We don't put any holes in egg box.
