1)square foot per 1)linear foot of snake is adequate space.
Hopefully your not planning on two snakes in the same cage as your post strongly suggest ?

May I recommend Repti-Racks.com. I just ordered one myself. Great pricing, great customer service and, from what I have heard, a great product.

Many here like both, personally I like the AP offerings over those two choices.
Its best to see them all in person rather then go by word of mouth, IMO there are pros and cons with every consumer product.

vision has some nice tanks. I bought a few made from recycled plastic and they work just fine

killr_silhouette Nov 21, 2007 05:48 PM

visions work well because they don't have any corners, which makes them a LOT easier to clean. they stack well & are really light for their size.

the only complaint i have about Visions is the lip in the top/sides on the inside front.

if you have large snakes, it isnt a worry, but small boas and ball pythons ( i would say anything smaller than a yearling boa) can crawl into the lip & it is a pain to get them down.

this problem is EASILY fixed with a rod of styrofoam or something similar.
