My male is in dark phase with my female. I checked in on him tonight and he is covered in white smears everywhere. Looks like the female is spreading urates on him?
Is this normal?

I am new at this too but from what I have heard, she is producing pheromones. Pheromoes are used to attract and stimulate the male..great sign.

My female has been doing the same to my male the whole time they've been together. I think she was ready to go before he was. Maybe it was her way of getting him in the mood. Whatever she did, it worked!

im new to breeding as well and yep white paint all over even on the door of my cage, she has it all over her, maybe turning albino, she's looking thicker than ever before now that boyfriend seems to know what to do maybe just maybe!!
