Lizard Liner

What do you guys think about Lizard Liner it is a substrate that doesn't have stringy carpet bits or a weave that will catch a lizards toe nails. Can I quit using these ugly paper towels? Or is this stuff pretty but a disease nest? I have a 3 month old Ca king.
