I'd use the earthworms or small fish to scent them over to pinky mice. It takes a little bit of effort but once they convert you're assured of ready access to a balanced parasite free food supply.

I'd start with washed frozen thawed extra small pinkys and rub some worm on them and see how many takers you get. For those that don't take it with just rubbing, put a piece of worm in the pinky's mouth so it's in tight but protruding a bit. If that doesn't work use a piece of one of the fish they've accepted. If you still don't get a taker, post back and I'd be happy to supply some other strategies.

For those that take just scented, keep scenting for the next couple feedings then try unscented. For those that need a piece of something, put in the piece for the first two or three feedings then try just scenting. Usually you can get them eating unscented within a month and once they accept unscented they don't tend to revert. To stretch your supply of the small live fish, put them in the freezer and just use pieces or rub th mice with a frozen fish.
