breeding questions

raisnok Nov 23, 2007 07:12 AM

in mid sept i put put my two together, they bred and bred.
i have noticed the last week they arent doing any thing, the male is to one side of the cage and the female on the other.

could this mean she is "gravid/pregnant" ?

she also looks to be going blue, this will be the first shed since they have been together.....

It could mean a few things. Depending on how long they've been together. The job could be done and she may be gravid. Or, the male may just not be interested in the female while she is going into shed. None of my males ever show interest while they shed or while the female is ever in shed. Let her shed out, give them a few days. My money says he gets back to work on her.

thank you for your response, that was what i was wondering, if it was because they both are going blue.
