Eastern Hognose ?????

Besides Cane Toads what other frog/toad are DANGEROUS to feed to an Eastern Hog.I have been feeding mine reg toads but those days are over until next spring and these dang spotted frogs are to little.I dont want to feed the wrong thing and find him like this.Are Firebelly Toads harmful?Any advice would be great,thanks......

Native toads/frogs only. No exotics.

when you care for an eastern you should learn to plan ahead for winter . like freezing enough to get you through the cold.
glades herp sells toads or i can tell you were to get some but they will cost you 2 to 3 bucks each. no don't tell me your 16 and didnt thik that far ahead!!!!!!!!!!

The easiest thing to do would be to switch the hog over to mice, there will never be any issues with supply, parasites, bioaccumulation of toxins, or recklessly collecting wild populations of wild animals (such as will Glades).
