Exciting time for new breeder

rabernet Nov 23, 2007 10:23 AM

The past two years have been spent raising up my snakes, and it's paying off this year!

This is my lemon pastel to a normal reduced female. Yes, she's in shed. He was given the "triple whammy" of a shed from a female in his enclosure the night before, a cold front with rain rolling in, and a female in shed (per the Barker's book).

And my het clown with his lady on their sixth "date" and as many lock-ups:

that is one nice lemon pastel. That yellow is sooo bright. How big is he? Good luck and I hope that you get your clutch.

Thank you! He's 1100 grams. I'm very happy how he's held onto his color.

has held his color well that's for sure. Good luck with them. You should get some nice looking lemon pastels with the dad's coloration and the mom's reduced pattern. Hope it goes well for you.

Thanks Kev, you've made me so much more relaxed about the whole process! You will pay with endless phone calls from a worried new breeder! You've been warned!
