Good breeders of Garter morphs

fudrick Nov 23, 2007 01:30 PM

Hey everyone, I have Corns and Boas, but I have recently been looking at Garters, and I have found that there are some very nice morphs, despite being a "beginner snake." So, I was wondering if anyone here breeds morphs, or knows someone who breeds morphs. I have looked at Scott Felzer's site and he has some beautiful animals and, from seeing posts about him here, he seems like a nice person to do business with, but I would also like to look at some other breeders. Also, when would be a good time to shop around and have the most options? I assume now would be pretty good, as Garters give birth around June to September I believe.

Thanks

I usually see the most garter babies for sale in the summer. I think Scott pretty much has the market cornered in terms of morphs; I only rarely see other people advertizing cb garter morphs in the classifieds here.

Tom Dickinson, Ed Hoene, Don Belnap, Robert Rice, Brian Eager, Mark Malfatti & Kit Godwin all work with various thamnophis species/morphs and offer quality animals.
