Good book????

I am looking for a good genetics book that kind of breaks it down for beginners. I have Corn Snakes In Captivity by Don Soderberg and it is an excellent book and I highly recommend it for beginners and experts alike. It had some grea info in it. What I need now however is a lesson on genetics and how they come into play when selecting snakes for breeding. Thanks.

Honestly, I would say the web has more than enough. I've heard nothing but great things about Don's book, and Kathy's. And a book has an advantage. But so much is changing so fast. Older genetic morphs are pretty easy. But I gave up a bit ago. I plan on trying to organize a library of ideas like that from actual breeders one day. But that is off in the future. Or may just fade away lol.

One site that does not come up in a browser often is

www.kornnatterlexikon.de/index.php?action=2§ion=222

They've changed a bit too. I liked some of there old stuff, it was simple to follow the genetics. But still a good source.

Good luck.

That site you told me about was nice. I like the calculator they had. It was really fun to mess around with.

Is the corn snake morph guide. It is by Charles Pritzel. Here's the link
http://cornguide.com/the guide.php
it comes out every year, with great stuff: the new old and upcoming genetics/morphs along with explanations for beginners on genetics.
I get this book every year
