Fire Pastel and some Fires

dbherp Nov 24, 2007 11:35 AM

Since the topic came up I thought I'd share a couple pictures. The Fires can be somewhat difficult to tell by a picture but are fairly easy to tell in person, especially when separating them from normal hatchlings. I've had babies ranging from cream colored to almost orange. They're highly variable and as far as I can tell there aren't any definitive "markers" for them.

One of my holdback females and a crazy looking male Fire that's a possible het Albino. The bottom animal is one of the Fire Pastels I just hatched out a few weeks ago. I can't wait to make Fire Bees.

Another holdback female Fire and a Cinnamon Pastel.

I included pictures of my adult breeder (that I've posted numerous times) for people that are curious what an adult Fire looks like.

Very nice David! Congrats on the Fire/Pastel! That's going to be awesome seeing how it turns as it ages with that blushing!
