Serpent Safari?? is it still open?

MikeT Nov 24, 2007 07:24 PM

Anyone know if Serpent Safari i Illinois is still open? Anyone know what's up with the owner (who used to have Baby)? I was just watching Animal Planet where they showed him, and how he almost was killed by a retic. Anyone know what happend to that snake? They had stabbed it a bunch of times, I'm wondering if it had survived.

I'm not sure about their Illinois location, but they had one here the WI Dells that closed.

The Gurnee Mills location is still open. Or at least was as of about 2 months ago.

I could be wrong but I believe both Baby and the retic are dead. My rescue took in a very large alligator from the Wisconsin Dells location.

I don't know if the Gurnee location is still open, but the big retic died shortly after the incident with the owner. It's head and skin used to be displayed next to newspaper clippings of the event. Baby also died a couple years ago I believe.
