Pulled out my gecko to feed him today and got the surprise of my life! I have a juvenile tangerine and when i looked at him his abdomen is huge so huge that he can barely walk! I picked him up and held him up to the light and i can see a huge buildup of clear fluid in his belly and it looks like all his organs are squished up to the top of his abdomen!! I have called around but there are no vets open today for reptiles. Has anyone ever seen this before in leopard geckos because i have never seen it. This gecko has been eating and drinking normally and has otherwise been healthy and the only thing that changed was that i switched out his heating pad for a different one, could this perhaps be a result of too much heat?

I doubt it has to do with a diff heat pad. Double check your temps just to rule it out. You say he has been eating and drinking normally- how about his excretions? Is his poop normal? Have you ruled out any toxic exposures?

Here's a picture of my geckos belly, he has been the same today as he was yesterday. Note this gecko has never been on sand, only paper towels. He also has not went to the bathroom in at least two days.

Vet time. Probably a blockage.

The good news I can give you is what our vet said to us, "I love albinos! You never need x-rays." Same goes for yours obviously.

Good luck.

There is nothing you can do on your own for your leo. Take him to the vet as soon as posible.
Good luck!
