Strange behavior?

df92484 Nov 25, 2007 11:13 AM

I have a female and her behavior has changed a bit over the last week, she is digging random holes in the substrate (Eco Earth) and she has gotten fairly aggressive with the other female in the tank (I found bit marks on the head of the smaller female). I have since seperated them, however, I am wondering if these behavior changes mean that she is gravid? I have been trying to breed them but this is my first experience with breeding these animals so I am afraid I am pretty green. Any advice would be great.

I already have one in there, it is a plastic half gallon Ice cream container filled 50% with vermiculite and a fair sized hole in the lid.

you probably have eggs already.
they really don't dig just for sport.
if i'm right , feel free to show your
gratitude and send me a baby !
seriously , carefully check the entire area
where she was digging.
good luck with your eggs.

I found my first clutch of eggs this morning underneath the nest box, they looked healthy and so does my gecko so I am very happy about that. Thanks for all the advice.
