Went out to the pumphouse where I brumate my snakes and found this girl on on of my containers Friday night. Brought her in to the warm room and she ate a thawed anole yesterday. Her red is darker than most examples I have seen. Nose is a burgandy colored. Pleasant Thanksgiving surprise!

She looks very similar to some of the ones I've found in the Sandhills of Nc.. What part of the country do you live? Nice find. Most of mine have taken pinkies with minimal effort. I have some adults that are very dark. I'll have to take some pics soon. Meanwhile here's one of my F1 '07 scarlets.

That's funny!,.....seems like "little dude" thought he found a good place to brumate!,.....you sure got an extra bonus there!, especially since it volunteered to eat so quickly in captivity!. It doesn't sound like you'll have much of a problem switching it over to pinks if you wanted to in the future, with just a little anole scenting.
I've always loved SK's,........ good luck with it!
