Because it is a highland type, would the wamena be kept at a cooler temp? What would you recommend, high to low for the thermograde? Is a nite time drop in temp ok? I handspray -- can I overspray? How many times a day i.e. 2-5 times/day? Thanks

For one, I wouldn't recommend hand spraying 5 times a day. Though it does depend alot on how well your cage maintains humidity. I give my cages a good heavy spraying in the morning, and usually that is good enough, but if it has been unusually hot or if the substrate is completely bone dry by the time I get home(which is rare), I will give another light spraying in the evening.
As for temperatures for highland-type animals, they will do fine with the normal daytime temperature regimen(basking area of 85-88 DTH), but a temperature drop at night into the low 70s would probably benefit them. All of my chondros no matter locality-type get a substantial temperature drop at night, and it doesn't seem to bother them one bit, and I've noticed them being MORE active with the night-drop than when I was keeping heat on them constantly. However, this is just my experience, and can vary for different keepers under different circumstances.
