Hi I was wondering if the probe for the thermostat is supposed to be taped directly on the flex tape in a rack? I have always placed the probe inside an empty bin over the heat source and was told this is really the incorrect way to get the right temps for my kings, milks and ratsnakes. If the thermo probe is supposed to be taped on directly touching the flex tape. what kind of tape do you use to secure it? any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks Dj
