They seems to grow fairly rapidly. It depends on temperature and hibernation time.
If kept warm all year and fed twice a day they can reach 120 cm in one year, but I cannot recommend it.
According to the people from Anhui, they need to be 7 years to breed, and if you feed them normally and hibenate them 4-5 months each year, they will be in the right size then.
My animals are from 1998 and are about 100 cm and a weight of 3100 and 3900 g. Expect a 20 cm growth a year untill maturity, if kept under natural conditions.
