Hey I have several residents that live in my yeard and they are still moving around when ever the sun is out, The adults seem to be down but the mid size and smaller are still active, they have dug in there burrows but have not voered them up yet. I see we have more warm weather coming here so they probably will stay active. The more I study lizards the more I see the young, are flexible with respect to winter in warmer areas. I observed them feeding on an insect so they are not just basking they are eating as well....ALso our resident anoles have found their spots for wintering but I have caught them on the front porch basking as well.
