they had him as a san diego gopher but i didnt think so either, he just ate last night so i didnt want to pull him out, ill take pics of my other two snakes tomorrow the ones i took tonight were blurred from the lighting and the wifey is prego and mad so no time for more pics.
yep a very nice sonoran!
I'd say Sonoran, cuz that snake seems to have the same colors as other albino Sonorans I've seen. Dosal patterns a bit different (more mottled) than the Sonorans we see from the wild here in CA & AZ.

It looks like the other line of Albinos.........other meaning not Envy stock. If it is, the gene is not compatible with Envy stock. Some of us are trying to get the name Red Albinos to stick for that line. It is really nice looking. Tom Stevens

So, your saying breeding this guy to an envy albino female would produce hets for both? not that im planning on doing it, its just good to know.
Exactly, I know Jason at Envy is already exprimenting with this Albino as we hope it will create a new type of Snow/Blizzard. The Albinos won't align and make more Albinos but maybe the Red Albino and Envy Ghost will make a new White snake?

The Avalanche has already started-it is too late for the pebbles to vote....
It could be a mix of the two, but my guess would be sonoran.
in both color and pattern.....e.g.the red says affinis-the white says annectens(S.D.)....pattern looks mostly sonoran but again i do see some san diego influence-i'd suspect it's an intergrade,a pretty one.

...check out the anterior blotches, see how their sides run together-if i remember correcetly the taxonomic name for san diego gophers,'annectens',means 'chain-like'.
